Adult-ed open houses upcoming at Pioneer


SHELBY — Pioneer Career and Technology Center Adult Education will have an open house Wednesday, Aug. 16, from 6-8 p.m. Explore career options, meet the instructors, tour the labs, and discover how Pioneer can help prepare you for a rewarding career, in less than a year. Pioneer’s job training programs lead to business and industry-recognized credentials and job opportunities. Programs include Welding Technology, State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) , Medical Office Coding and Basic CNC Operator. Visitors may also register for short-term computer classes and special interest/hobby classes.

Pioneer is registering students for its fall Adult Diploma Program. If you are older than 22 and haven’t earned your high school diploma, make sure to stop and visit. You will be able to find out more information, talk to students who have gone through the program and you can even register that day.
