3:12 a.m. — A 911 caller reported a man laying in the middle of the road in the area of Second Avenue and Smith Street. The man was picked up and released to a friend.

6:39 a.m. — A report of a skunk with his head stuck in a peanut butter jar was received from the 400 block of South Union Street. The animal was removed from the area.

10:31 a.m. — A resident in the 400 block of Libby Lane reported a neighbor gave away her cat. The caller confronted the person who allegedly gave away the cat and they got into a fight. The alleged cat-giver told police she would get the cat back.

11:35 a.m. — An employee at Poland True Value reported that a person driving a black Dodge may have stolen a pipe cutter.

12:31 p.m. — An employee at the post office reported finding a wallet in a mailbox.

1:10 p.m. — Police received a call from East Park about two men yelling at each other near the cabin, and that one of them had a Street. When police arrived, the men were gone.

1:11 p.m. — A car was reportedly broke into in the 100 block of South Pierce Street. A GPS unit was missing.

1:14: p.m. — A needle on the ground in the 1300 block of Harding Way East was disposed of.

2:43 p.m. — A caller in the 500 block of Park Avenue reported receiving numerous text on her phone from a stranger, some of them containing pornography.

4:52 p.m. — A resident in the 1200 block of East Walnut Street reported a neighbor keeps coming into his yard and is not wanted there.

6:04 p.m. — A resident in the 400 block of Libby Lane reported being harassed by a woman.

7 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of North Columbus Street reported a man in his driveway but who refused to move his vehicle. The driver of the vehicle faces charges of OVI and having an open container or alcohol.

11:50 p.m. — Police responded to a report of two kids looking in the windows at Elliott Machine Works on Freese Works Place.

Saturday

12:51 a.m. — After a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Market Street, police arrested a woman on suspicion of OVI. She was released to a acquaintance.

3:10 a.m. — A caller advised police of a man passed out in the 500 block of Richardson Avenue. He was given a verbal warning after being awakened by police.

12:53 p.m. — Police received a call about a woman “flipping out” and “tearing everything up” from the 500 block of Richardson Avenue. Officers talked to the woman who said she would calm down.

2:27 p.m. — An employee at a business in the 300 block of Harding Way West reported finding a bag in the parking lot that contained something that may have been “crack.”

2:42 p.m. — A resident in the 100 block of South Murray Street reported a woman walked into the home while the caller was in the back yard and stole $10.

5:46 p.m. — A landlord of a residence in the 100 block of South Boston Street reported a refrigerator and stove had been stolen by a tenant.

6:24 p.m. — A resident in the 100 block of South Riblet Street reported a bunch of kids throwing rocks at his vehicle.

6:28 p.m. — A woman was reported to be unresponsive at Jen Cor, 7739 Ohio 309 in Galion. Police took information to make a report.

8:38 p.m. — Police investigated a report of a woman who appeared lost in the 300 block of Fairview Avenue. Police talked to the woman, who said she had found a place to spend the night.

11:25 p.m. — Police received a call from the emergency department at Galion Community Hospital in reference to an assault and possible rape. Information was relayed to the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation.

1:05 a.m. — A caller reported a man was being aggressive toward customers at Circle-K. The man was stopped by police and an acquaintance was going to take the man home.

8:56 a.m. — A caller in the 400 block of Mackey Street reported being threatened by a man with a gun after he told the man not to let his dog “pee and poop” in the yard.

10:15 a.m. — A resident in the 700 block of Harding Way East reported fence d a.m. — aged on the property.

1:16 p.m. — Police received a call about two kids sitting on the railing of the bridge in the 100 block of Gill Avenue. Officers told the kids to not sit there anymore.

2:30 p.m. — Police investigated a possible domestic assault in the 100 block of Eighth Avenue.

7:08 p.m. — Two verbal warnings were given to kids who were reportedly trespassing in the 100 block of South Riblet Street.

7:13 p.m. — A resident in the 100 block of Harding Way East reported the sway bar on her vehicle had been tampered with.

9:15 a.m. — Officers are investigating a report of a truck that was stolen from City lot 3 and wrecked in the 600 block of Tiffin Street.

1:20 p.m. — Officers spoke to a woman in the 600 block of N. Sandusky who was assaulted.

1:33 p.m. — Officers spoke to a man in the 400 block of W. Mansfield Street. whose son is being threatened by someone he knows.

1:42 p.m. — A resident in the Bucyrus Plaza area reported a full sized bed stolen from her home.

2:37 p.m. — A resident in the 1200 block of E. Southern Avenue reported her purse stolen.

2:57 p.m. — A domestic disturbance in the 100 block of East Lucas Street was investigated. One of the parties left the scene and charges are pending. The other party received medical attention.

3:11 p.m. — Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 200 block of Wayne Avenue.

3:19 p.m. — A Bucyrus resident reported a possible Protection Order violation.

4:16 p.m. — Officers checked on a reported suspicious vehicle behind Walmart.

5:19 p.m. — A fight in the 800 block of Grove Avenue was investigated.

6:44 p.m. — A warning was issued to a subject soliciting without a permit in the 100 block of Crescent Court.

7:21 p.m. — A report of someone breaking mason jars in the road on Union Street was investigated.

7:30 p.m. — A loud music complaint was investigated at Bucyrus Plaza and all was quiet.

9:19 p.m. — Officers assisted a resident in the 500 block of South Walnut Street by removing a bat from the residence.

10:08 p.m. — A resident in the 900 block of Rogers Street requested officers check her residence after she heard a noise. No one was located in or around the residence.

11:05 p.m. — Officers responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of South East Street. and a 44-year-old Bucyrus man was arrested for domestic violence in the 700 block of South East Street. He is being held pending a court appearance.

12:07 a.m. — Officers assisted a resident in getting a critter out of the house in the 1500 block of E. Mansfield Street.

12:38 a.m. — Officers investigated a complaint of loud music coming from the 100 block of W. Oakwood Street.

2:00 a.m. — A report of a disturbance in the 300 block of W. Warren Street. was a loud party.

5:34 a.m. — Officers assisted a man on retrieving his property in the 1100 block of W. Mansfield Street.

10:23 a.m. — Officers were contacted for a welfare check in the 100 block of East Rensselaer Street., the man was found OK.

10:32 a.m. — Officers assisted a female to get medical attention in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Avenue

1:02 p.m. — A report of theft of money in the 200 block of W. Mansfield Street. was investigated.

3:24 p.m. — A resident in the 300 block of Blicke Street. was warned regarding his dogs running loose.

3:55 p.m. — Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the Plymouth and Lane Street area and a tow truck responded.

4:39 p.m. — A private property collision was investigated in the Walmart lot.

5:08 p.m. — Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 1700 block of Marion Road

5:22 p.m. — Officers investigated a report of a theft of motorcycle parts in the 900 block of W. Mansfield Street.

5:52 p.m. — Officers spoke to a couple in the 100 block of Fisher Street. regarding a domestic dispute.

6:13 p.m. — Officers spoke to a man receiving harassing text messages in the 500 block of S. Sandusky.

9:39 p.m. — Officers spoke to three young children running in the roadway in the 1600 block of Marion Road They were all taken to their home nearby.

10:56 p.m. — A report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Plymouth Street was an injured person walking to the hospital, and he arrived there for medical attention.

11:44 p.m. — Officers attempted to locate a possible domestic in a vehicle in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Avenue

11:59 p.m. — Officers responded to an alarm at New Day Ministries, 301 E. Warren Street. It appears the church has been entered and it is unknown if anything is missing at this time.

12:06 a.m. — Officers investigated a vandalism complaint in the 1700 block of Marion Road

2:07 a.m. — A man reported being assaulted by another man he knows while in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street.

4:11 a.m. — Officers investigated a disturbance in the 400 block of Heritage Circle. It was a minor domestic issue and a subject was escorted to a relative’s home.

8:35 a.m. — A sick fox was dispatched in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street.

9:12 a.m. — Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 800 block of South Sandusky Avenue

12:24 p.m. — Officers spoke to a young man about car seat safety in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue

1:02 p.m. — Officers assisted an intoxicated female in the Lane and Mansfield Street area. She was turned over to a sober party.

1:23 p.m. — Officers received a complaint of dirt bikes on Inez Street. They were gone upon officers arrival.

2:08 p.m. — A report of a cat stuck in the engine of a truck was investigated on E. Rensselaer Street. The owner of the truck was contacted and will take care of the animal.

2:54 p.m. — A domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Hopley Avenue was a custody issue.

3:59 p.m. — A report of a motorcyclist driving erratically in the area of Lane and Charles Street was investigated and a warning issued to the operator.

5:39 p.m. — Officers attempted to check the welfare of a resident in the 800 block of Elm Street for Community Counseling. They were unable to make contact.

7:25 p.m. — Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 400 block of E. Mansfield Street.

8:17 p.m. — A domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Cleland Street was resolved and a warning issued against trespassing by one of the parties.

8:52 p.m. — A report of a possible intoxicated driver on East Mansfield Street was investigated and forwarded to OSP as the driver was leaving town.

9:25 p.m. — Officers responded with Bucyrus Fire Department for a call of smoke at Wendy’s. The business was evacuated while the Fire Department checked the area.

10:15 p.m. — Officers responded with EMS personnel to an injured female that had fallen in the area of Sandusky and Crescent Court.

11:25 p.m. — A report of a barking dog in the 900 block of Faustina Avenue was checked and a warning issued.

2:08 a.m. — A male reported his bicycle stolen while in the 1500 block of Marion Road Officers recovered his bicycle and returned it to him.
