Wednesday

12:41 a.m. — Officer checked out a suspicious vehicle outside Citidel RPG and Gaming on Harding Way East. The car was unoccupied.

12:43 — Police did a welfare check on a person in the 500 block of North Union Street and determined things seemed to be OK.

12:57 a.m. — A caller in the 300 block of Third Avenue reported being harassed via text messaging. Police talked to all parties involved and them them not to contact one another anymore.

1:30 a.m. — During a traffic stop near the intersection of Harding Way East and Eighty Avenue, police cited a man for possession of marijuana.

2:06 a.m. — A worker at Circle-K on East Street reported two young kids — without parents around — came into the store and purchased some items. Officers could not find the two kids.

4:26 a.m. — A man in the 200 block of South Market Street was taken to the hospital by Galion EMS after apparently falling off the roof and yelling for assistance.

11:22 a.m. — A car in the 200 block of Gill Avenue was reportedly broken into. Several items, including $200, were apparently stolen.

1:12 p.m. — Police assisted the dog warden with a nuisance dog call in the 700 block of Clay Street.

1:30 p.m. — Police and EMS responded to the 100 block of Easton Way after a man reportedly experienced chest pains and passed out in the shower.

2:13 p.m. — A landlord of property in the 400 block of John Street took information to make a report after tenant’s apparently moved out of the residence.

3:28 p.m. — After responding to a call, police told a man to stay away from a resident in the 700 block of South Street.

4:02 p.m. — A caller told police there was a bike in a ditch in the 400 block of Hensley Avenue.

4:37 p.m. — Two people were given warnings for disorderly conduct after a report of a disturbance involving a bat and a 2×4 was received in the 300 block of North Market Street.

7 p.m. — A car was apparently broke into in the 300 block of Gill Avenue, but police reported nothing was stolen.

7:55 p.m. — A vehicle apparently ran into some pillars on private property in the 500 block of Portland Way North. The driver and vehicle left the area, but left behind some broken tail light debris.

11:09 p.m. — An employee of Jen-Cor, on Ohio 309, reported someone dumped a dead dog in one of their trash cans. Police took information to make a report.

11:14 p.m. — An officer told a person in the 300 block of South Columbus Street to turn down his music after a neighbor complained.

Thursday

2:02 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Oak Street reported that a relative had just stolen some items from the home.

2:17 — Police received a call about a group of people trying to get into cars in the area of the Church Street overpass. By the time officers arrived, the group was long gone.

9:03 a.m. — An officer was requested at Vulcan Products in regard to a person who would not leave the premises. She was given a verbal warning for trespassing and told not to return.

11:40 a.m. — Residents in the 400 block of Gill Avenue reported their cars broken into overnight.

12:40 p.m. — A real estate company representative was showing a house in the 500 block of Cherry Street. When they got into the house, they heard food steps and someone ran from the home.

2:00 p.m. — A dog bite was reported in the 200 block of South Columbus Street.

4:07 p.m. — A report of a fight in the 400 block of Third Avenue turned out to be two girls fighting over a phone charger.

4:25 p.m. — A caller from the YMCA called police to report that a lot of people are parking in the YMCA parking lot and logging onto the free wifi account.

10:33 p.m. — After a report of an assault in the 300 block of East Parsons Street, police arrested a man on a warrant from Richland County and on possession of drug charges.

Thursday

8:14 a.m. — A false alarm was received in the 500 block of Hill St.

9:46 a.m. — A parking complaint in the 400 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated.

9:57 a.m. — Officers relayed a message to a resident in the 1400 block of Hopley Ave for the Sheriff’s Office.

11:14 a.m. — A report of loud music was investigated in the 400 block of E. Lucas St.

1:05 p.m. — A bicyclist was given a verbal warning for violating traffic rules in the Marion Rd, Beal Ave. area.

2:12 p.m. — A report of a suspicious man in the Schaber, Tiffin Street area was checked into.

3:08 p.m. — A 31-year-old man was arrested on charges of Obstruction and Drug Paraphernalia. He was issued summons to appear in court and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held on a Probation Violation.

3:31 p.m. — A two vehicle accident in the area of Charles and Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

3:55 p.m. — A disturbance in the 200 block of S. Lane Street was investigated.

4:59 p.m. — Officers assisted Crestline Police Department with an interview at the Police Department.

5:01 p.m. — A report of a malnourished dog in the 1100 block of Whetstone Street was investigated. An agent with the Humane Society arrived on scene to further investigate.

7:53 p.m. — A parking complaint in the 500 block of S. Walnut Street was investigated.

9:07 p.m. — A report of an open door at a vacant residence on S. Walnut Street was investigated.

9:11 p.m. — A 9-1-1 open line from the area of Hopley and Robinhood Drive was investigated. No one was located in the area needing assistance.

9:15 p.m. — A 9-1-1 open line from the area of Mansfield and Penn Avenue was investigated. No one was located in the area needing assistance.

9:33 p.m. — A building found open in the 100 block of N. Poplar Street was checked and re-secured by officers.

11:53 p.m. — Officers checked the area in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. after a report of a possible drunk driver in the area. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

Friday

12:20 a.m. — Officers checked the area in the 400 block of N. Sandusky after receiving a complaint of a suspicious male in the area.

12:35 a.m. — Officers spoke to a man in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. regarding his driving status.

1:33 a.m. — Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the Bucyrus Plaza area.

1:54 a.m. — Officer spoke to a woman in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. regarding a possible stolen vehicle. The claim was unfounded.

3:39 a.m. — Officers assisted Life Support Team in the 200 block of E. Warren St.
