Mansfield firm names Galion’s Eric Kent project manager

MANSIELD — FiELD9: architecture has hired Eric Kent, of Galion, to its team. As of June 5, he was a project manager for the Mansfield firm

According to a news release, Kent brings strengths in design conception and development, construction document production, project management and business development to the team. His talents will be immediately valuable to our current work load, including a new bell tower and entry expansion for Resurrection Parish in Lexington.

“Bringing Eric onto our team will bolster our ability to provide top notch architectural design and service to our clients,” said Matthew Stanfield, owner and principal architect of FIELD9: architecture.

Kent was previously a project engineer at Elliott Machine Works in Galion. Prior to that, he was a designer and draftsman at Marion Zaugg Architect & Designer in Mansfield. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from The Ohio State University, where he minored in city and regional planning.

Kent lives in Galion with his wife and three children, where he is an active member of his community. He is a member of both the Galion Planning Commission and the Galion Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council.
