Meteorologist and Crestline grad will speak at Crestline Public Library on July 29

CRESTLINE — Meteorologist Steven Glauer, will present a program on severe weather in Ohio, and talk about safety tips for weather emergencies, Saturday, July 29, at 10 a.m. at Crestline Public Library. He is a meteorologist with Net Jets in Columbus, and is a Crestline High School graduate. His job is to determine weather patterns for flights across the U.S.

Other upcoming events include

  • Monday, July 31, at 6 p.m. — Dan Everly will presents a program on the night sky.
  • Tuesday, July 25 at 10 a.m. — Children up to Age 10 may participate in the annual Pet Parade at the library. Kids should bring their favorite stuffed animal to participate in the parade. Afterward, Bill Fisher, director of Lowe Volk Park, will present a program on animals at the park.
  • Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. — Drip. E. Fawcet will present a fun program up to age 10. Reading awards will also be presented.
  • Aug. 3, at 6 p.m. — Teens are encouraged to bring their Lego’s and participate in a Lego Building contest. Reading awards will be presented.
