Four-part financial seminar set at Crestline Public Library

CRESTLINE The Crestline Public Library and Parr Insurance present a four week Adult Financial Seminar every Tuesday in June, from 6-7 p.m. These seminars are for those older than 40 who would like a better understanding of various financial topics. Each Tuesday evening will deal with a different topic. Participants are asked to bring a notepad and pen.

Tuesday, June 6: Presenter Eric Parr will discuss understanding financial rights and benefits concerning Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Advantage plans, and drug plans, Social Security and will also allow time for questions. .

Tuesday, June 13: Presenter Ed Wirick will discuss Funeral Trusts. His topics will include describing funeral trusts, why they are needed, how they work and how they can be used for family members.

Tuesday, June 20: Michele Razdrh will present a program on Reverse Mortgages. She will explain Reverse Mortgages and how they work, and she will discuss their use as a tool for financial difficulties.

Tuesday, June 27: Bridgette Trent will present a program on understanding Medicaid. She will discuss how Medicaid provides services and how long it lasts. She will also educate participants about “spend down”.
