May 4, 1:59 a.m. — Officers checked out a suspicious vehicle in Heise Park near the pool.

May 4, 5:27 a.m. — Officers responded to some kids hanging out around the YMCA on Gill Avenue. They took off before police arrived.

May 4, 5:47 a.m. — Officers took a report of a stolen hover board from a resident in the 1500 block of Trachsel Place.

May 4, 10 a.m. — A resident in the 200 block of South Columbus Street called police to say a large limb fell from a tree and crushed a car.

May 4, 10:41 a.m. — Police received a call from a person at the intersection of South and Walnut streets about someone trying to run their vehicle off the road. The caller suspects it was perhaps someone renting from him. The caller also told told police of a similar incident reported to Morrow Count authorities on May 3.

May 4, 1:52 a.m. — A NARCAN kit was found in the trash at Goodwill, 700 block of Carter drive.

May 4, 3:30 p.m. — Police did a welfare check on a person in the 2oo block of North Washington Street.

May 4, 5:22 p.m. — A man was issued citations for driving on a sidewalks, street lawn or cub and driving while under OVI suspension.

May 4, 5:44 p.m. — Police cited two men for reckless operation on private property while investigating a report of two trucks at Amann Reservoir tearing out grass.

May 4, 7:04 p.m. — Police took a man into custody on a warrant from Richland County in the 800 block of Harding Way West.

May 3, 8:03 a.m. — A man was charged with public intoxication after someone in the 300 block of South Street told police they saw someone trying to break into a house via a window. The man was taken to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and was held until he was sober.

May 3, 4:31 p.m. — Police responded to a residence in the 500 block of Harding Way East after receiving a report that someone living there left a bunch of needles in the basement.

May 3, 4:57 p.m. — A man called police in reference to a man who appeared deceased at the bottom of a stairwell. The coroner was called to the residence in the 300 block of North Columbus Street.

May 2, 5:51 p.m. — A report was received from Huntington Bank about a checking account that was hacked and money removed from the account.

May 2, 11:30 p.m. — A resident in the 700 block of South Street told police that upon getting home, a front door appeared to have been kicked in.
