1:55 a.m.-Anton Pierre Franklin was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia in the Portland Way North and Freese Works area.

8:37 a.m.-A report of a person trying to cash a possible stolen check at First Federal Bank of Ohio was investigated. Donald C. Ray was arrested for receiving stolen property.

9 a.m.-A worker at Community Counseling requested officers complete a welfare check on a resident in the South Boston Street area.

11:49 a.m.-A report of theft at a residence in the 300 block of Cherry Street was investigated.

12:01 p.m.-A report of a shoplifter at Rite Aid was investigated. Joshua M. Ute was arrested for theft.

Dec. 14

8 a.m.-A Harding Way West resident reported a possible gas leak at their residence.

12:14 p.m.-A resident in the 100 block of Carmel Avenue reported medication stolen from their residence.

4:11 p.m.-A domestic dispute in the 600 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

4:28 p.m.-Officers completed a welfare check on a resident in the 100 block of Wilson Avenue.

8:40 p.m.-Officers completed a welfare check on a resident in the 200 block of Libby Lane.

9:06 p.m.-A non-injury accident involving a vehicle and a deer was investigated in the 7800 block of Ohio 309.

12:11 p.m.-An employee at Check Into Cash reported being robbed by a man with a gun in the 700 block of Harding Way East. Officers enlisted the assistance of the Bucyrus and Mansfield Police Departments and Crawford County Sheriff’s Office for the use of K-9 units to aid in the search for the assailant. No other information was available.

2:38 p.m.-A report of fraud from a resident in the 600 block of Portland Way South is under investigation.

4:34 p.m.-A report of a man acting in a threatening manner in the 1200 block of Ohio 598 was investigated.

7:37 p.m.-A non-injury accident involving a truck and a deer was investigated in the 900 block of Charles Street.

8:55 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the Mardo Lane area.

Dec. 16

5:07 a.m.-A domestic dispute in the 400 block of Railroad Street was investigated.

5:21 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 5700 block of Ohio 309.

5:25 a.m.-A Sixth Avenue resident reported a breaking and entering of their apartment and rings and quarters were reported stolen.

5:37 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 7800 block of Anker Drive.

7:33 a.m.-An injury accident was investigated in the parking lot of Galion High School.

Dec. 13

9:20 a.m.- Income tax summons were issued at the police department.

8:41 p.m.- A Bucyrus resident brought his children to the police department to speak with an officer about the consequences of stealing.

Dec. 14

12:48 a.m.- A warrant was served and court date issued on Virginia Ave.

8:32 a.m.- A suspicious package was turned into the police department for investigation.

10:08 a.m.- Officers investigated a two vehicle non-injury crash at Walnut and Mansfield Streets.

3:15 p.m.- Ray Ferguson, 40, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

5:11 p.m.- Officers responded with Bucyrus Fire Department to a report of a fire at a residence in the 700 block of Hopley Avenue.

6:14 p.m.- Officers made a welfare check in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street. Robert Downing, 59, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

11:49 p.m.- A report of a canine left outside was investigated. The owner was given a written warning and the canine taken inside.

Dec. 15

8:05 a.m.- Officers assisted a school bus in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue.

3:20 p.m.- Officers are investigating a report of a shoplifting at Ehrharts.

6:09 p.m.- A theft report was taken at Bucyrus Plaza.

6:50 p.m.- Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol on East Mansfield Street.

9:09 p.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team Ambulance in the 800 block of South Spring Street.

10:14 p.m.- Todd Kinn, 45, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

Dec. 16

12:53 a.m.- The water department was contacted to assist a resident in the 300 block of Kramer Avenue with a water line break.

12:55 a.m.- A resident in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street reported her vehicle damaged while parked on North Sandusky Avenue this evening.

1:26 a.m.- Ellen Hout, 47, was arrested for disorderly conduct and seven Crawford County warrants. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held. She was also issued paperwork for six income tax summons.
