Two CHIP meetings scheduled in October

BUCYRUS — The Crawford County CHIP (Community Housing and Impact Preservation Program) will hold two public meetings in October to pass out information and applications for CHIP money. Please plan to attend if you are a home owner interested in applying for home rehab or repair funding through the CHIP program.

This year’s grants are earmarked for owner rehab and home repair.

The first meeting is Oct. 3 at 6 p.m., at Bucyrus City Hall. It will be in the seond floor council meeting room.

The second meeting is Oct. 11 at 6 p.m., in council chambers at the Galion Municipal Building.

Applications will be available at each meeting.

CHIP funding is available for all of Crawford County, including residents of Bucyrus, Crestline and Galion. For more information, contact the Crawford County office of the Ohio Regional Development Corporation at 419-562-6583.
