Aug. 3

9:51 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue. Belinda J. Howell was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.

1:14 p.m.-A resident in the 100 block of South Jefferson Street reported being harassed by someone she knows.

2:43 p.m.-A cell phone found in the 100 block of Harding Way East was turned over to the police department.

3:32 p.m.-Gregory Kelly was issued a citation for driving under suspension when the vehicle he was driving was stopped by police in the 600 block of South Market Street.

Bucyrus Police

Aug. 3

9:09 a.m.- Officers spoke with a suspicious person in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

9:10 a.m.- An abandoned bike in the 200 block of East Mansfield Street was brought to the station.

10:50 a.m.- A report of fireworks in the 700 block of Beverly Drive was unfounded.

11:01 a.m.- Officers cited a motorist in the 1300 block of East Mansfield Street for expired tags.

12:03 p.m.- A report of a theft and criminal damaging was investigated in the 600 block of Kaler Avenue.

12:46 p.m.- A report of stolen food from the Bucyrus Plaza area was taken. Caller later advised the food was thrown away.

1:09 p.m.- Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Lawn Avenue.

2:11 p.m.- A report of a suspicious person in the area of Sherman and Wilbur Streets turned out to be a registered solicitor.

2:31 p.m.- A report of dogs left in a hot vehicle was reported in the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

2:57 p.m.- A report of two suspicious people in the Wayne Avenue area were reported.

3:09 p.m.- A person trespassing at Bucyrus Precision Tech was reported. The person was not located.

3:39 p.m.- A report of breaking and entering to a residence in the area of Spring and Mansfield Streets was investigated.

5:53 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Plymouth Street.

6:16 p.m.- Terry Rice Jr, 24, was arrested in the 300 block of Emerson Street on charges breaking and entering. He was taken to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

8:52 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 500 block of Wedgewood Court.

7:29 p.m.- Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s Department in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street.

7:38 p.m.- A person spoke to officers on station about a disturbance in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street.

8:55 p.m.- James Wright, 46, was arrested on charges of domestic violence in the area of Highland Avenue and Mansfield Street. He was taken to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

9:10 p.m.- Officers investigated the report of an intoxicated person in the 400 block of East Mansfield Street.

9:51 p.m.- A report of someone trespassing at Kentucky Fried Chicken was investigated.

10:21 p.m.- A resident in the 300 block of Hopley Avenue reported someone attempting to get in her back door. No one was located in the area when officers arrived.

10:27 p.m.- A report of a group of juveniles on the roof of a church in the area of Dean and Irving Streets was investigated. The boys ran away prior to officers arrival.

10:38 p.m.- Officers responded to the Bucyrus Community Hospital regarding a patient in the ER. There was no problem when officers arrived.

Aug. 4

12:12 a.m.- A report of juveniles throwing a bicycle over the Lane Street bridge was investigated.

1:32 a.m.- A report of someone with a flashlight on the railroad tracks off the 900 block of East Rensselaer Street was investigated. It turned out to be a reflection from a house in the area.

2:26 a.m.- Officers spoke with a suspicious person in the 500 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

5:34 a.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Rensselaer Street and Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

6:32 a.m.- A report of an open door at United Bank was investigated. It was just the cleaning crew at the business.
