Reading programs winding down at Crestline Public Library

CRESTLINE — The Summer Reading program at Crestline Public Library is winding down.

Kids 10 and under can participate in a “Book Walk” at Lowe-Volk Park, from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 2. Experience the fun of nature while acting out parts of a story.

The last kids program is Aug. 9, 10 am, at Hamilton Park in Crestline. Meet at the park for a fun time playing together.

Teens are invited to learn Yoga on Aug. 9, 5:30 pm. at the library.

The last teen program is a pool party. Teens must have attended two programs throughout the summer and have a permission slip to attend.

Adults will end their programs with three August events.

Pat Hargis, a Bucyrus chemistry teacher, will give tips on green cleaning at 6 p.m. Aug. 4.

Adults may give yoga a try at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9.

On Aug. 11, at 6:30 p.m. adults will participate in Chair Exercises, which are good for those who are unable to stand for long periods of time or for those who sit for long periods of time and want to work exercise into their daily work routine.

The Grand Prize for the Summer Reading program will be drawn Aug. 11.
