July 10

8:29am A vehicle was towed from the 1000 block of Wingert St. for a 48 hour parking violation.

8:50am Officers made a welfare check in the 500 block of Kaler Ave.

9:40am A report of a trespasser in the 400 block of Sears St. was a subject arrested the previous day for OVI by OSP. The subject could not drive and was assisted with arrangements for transport south to his residence.

10:27am Officers assisted Life Support in the 700 block of High St.

11:39am A false alarm was received from the 500 block of S. Walnut St.

11:54am A report of a subject driving a lawn mower on S. Sandusky Ave. was unfounded.

12:16pm Officers assisted a subject in finding his dogs in the 400 block of Wallace Ave.

12:36pm A fight in the 200 block of W. Rensselaer St. was investigated.

2:09pm Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 1000 block of E. Warren St.

2:38pm A private property accident at Altercare parking lot on Whetstone St. was investigated.

3:01pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Reid and Highland Avenue.

3:07pm A report of young children left alone in a car at Washington Square was investigated. The vehicle had left the area.

3:17pm A disturbance in the 900 block of Maple Street was a dispute regarding property. The subjects resolved the issue.

3:45pm Three juveniles were warned about skateboarding and trespassing on private property in the downtown area.

4:24pm An overtime parking complaint in the 900 block of E. Warren Street was unfounded.

4:39pm A noise disturbance on Schell Avenue was investigated.

5:03pm A light blue pull behind bicycle stroller was stolen from a resident in the 800 block of E. Mansfield Street.

5:13pm A Bucyrus resident came to the Police Department to report Identity Fraud.

6:23pm A report of a dog running loose in the 300 block of Iron Street was investigated. The dog had just broken its leash and was already back with its owners.

6:41pm A resident in the 200 block of Plymouth Street reported items being left in her yard bothering her mowing.

6:53pm A report of a dog running loose in the 300 block of Wallace Avenue was investigated.

7:09pm A motorist was given a warning on N. Sandusky Ave. at River St.

7:11pm A false alarm in the 1400 block of Fairview Avenue was investigated.

7:31pm Norfolk Southern Railroad was contacted about a stopped train blocking the downtown area.

7:40pm A report of juveniles throwing mud onto vehicles at Bucyrus Plaza was investigated.

8:05pm Officers checked the welfare of residents in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

8:31pm A parking complaint at Washington Square was investigated. The vehicle driver was located and the vehicle was moved.

9:36pm A report of dogs barking in the 500 block of E. Mansfield Street was investigated. The owner was contacted and the dogs were going to be brought in for the night.

10:04pm A disturbance in the 700 block of Rogers Street was investigated. An officer stood by while a parent retrieved her daughter at a residence.

10:28pm A traffic warning was issued in the 200 block of N. Walnut Street.

11:08pm A report of a fight in the 400 block of Milo St. was investigated. The subjects causing trouble had left the location.

11:41pm A report of what sounded like a gunshot in the Bucyrus Plaza area was investigated. All was quiet in the area.

July 11

1:08am Officers responded to the area of Washington Square for a trespassing complaint about an individual refusing to leave a bar. James L. McMichael, 56, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

1:22am A report of people being loud in the 400 block of Milo St. was investigated.

1:33am A report of an open door at the Clark Station was investigated. It was found to be an employee taking out the trash. Cheryl Wellman, 54, was arrested on 2 warrants out of Crawford County. She was issued with a date to appear in court and released.

1:56am A traffic warning was given in the 100 block of Plymouth St.

2:00am A traffic warning was given in the 100 block of E. Mansfield St.

2:05am A report of a possible fight in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated. The female causing the dispute had already left the area.

2:07am A report of 2 dogs running loose in the 1900 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated. The Crawford County Dog Warden was advised of the dogs.

2:10am A false alarm on Washington Square was investigated.

2:29am A traffic warning was given in the Quaker Rd. and State Route 4 area.

2:40am Officers mediated a domestic issue in the area of Monnett St. and Franklin St.

2:43am A report of people causing a disturbance in the 100 block of W. Mary St. was investigated.

2:48am A domestic issue in the 300 block of W. Warren St. was investigated.

3:23am Officer assisted an intoxicated pedestrian in the 100 block of W. Mary St. He was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

3:49am Officers responded to a noise disturbance in the 900 block of Maple St. Danny W. Lester, 41, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for a court appearance.

7:12am Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of Tiffin St. The subject was not located.

8:33am A report of a sick raccoon on Washington Square was received. The raccoon left the area into a catch basin.

9:24am A motorist was assisted in entering his locked vehicle in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

9:31am A domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Tiffin St. was mediated.

10:21am A report of a disturbance in the 500 block of Woodlawn Ave. was investigated.

10:54am A motorist was cited on E. Beal Ave.

11:38am A false alarm was received from the 1100 block of Woodlawn Ave.

12:00pm An officer warned subjects who were swimming in Outhwaite Reservoir against swimming there. The subjects were unaware of no swimming permitted in the reservoirs.

12:18pm A subject came on station to speak with officers reference a child custody issue.

12:27pm A disturbance in the 100 block of S. Spring St. was an ongoing dispute among neighbors.

1:49pm Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 700 block of W. Perry St.

2:15pm An officer investigated loud noises in the 1500 block of Fairview Ave.

3:01pm Officers checked Aumiller Park for a report of a dog off leash.

3:48pm A parking ticket was issued in the 100 block of W. Galen St.

4:04pm Traffic stop on E. Rensselaer St. near Catherine St. Kalen D. Kilgore was arrested in the area of Rensselaer & Catherine St on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was issued a court date to appear.

4:36pm A report of a person trespassing was investigated in the 400 block of Myers St. A man and woman were breaking up and the man was provided an escort out of the area.

4:49pm A three car non-injury crash was investigated and a citation issued in the 100 block of Wallace Av.

5:13pm A report of juveniles fighting in the 500 block of N. Lane St. was investigated and subjects dispersed.

5:25pm Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol on St. Rt. 4 with an uncooperative OVI arrest and escort of a passenger to their residence on Willard St.

5:50pm A false alarm was investigated in the 1000 block of Martha Av.

6:54pm A report of possible drug odor at Bucyrus Plaza was unfounded.

7:10pm A false alarm was investigated in the 900 block of W. Perry St.

7:45pm A report of a four wheeler on Wallace Av. was investigated.

8:02pm A domestic dispute was investigated in the area of Woodbine St. No assaults or threats and one subject was moving out.

8:40pm A false alarm in the 1000 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

8:49pm Officers conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Hopley Ave.

10:01pm A report of a loud party in the 100 block of E. Liberty St. was investigated. Warning issued regarding noise.

10:19pm A report of a loud generator running in the 800 block of Prospect St. was investigated.

10:44pm A report of smoke in the 900 block of Rogers St. was investigated.

10:48pm A hit-skip accident at Walmart parking lot was investigated.

10:48pm A traffic warning was given in the 200 block of E. Charles St.

11:16pm Officers assisted a State Trooper on a traffic stop on St. Rt. 4.

11:39pm Officers assisted a State Trooper on a traffic stop and arrest in the area of State Route 4.

July 12

12:52am A traffic warning was given in the 100 block of N. Lane St.

2:17am A report of juveniles running around in the street in the 700 block of S. Spring St. was investigated. The kids went inside and officer met with their parent.

2:28am A resident in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. reported an unwanted female knocking on his door. Officers sent the female on her way.

2:52am Officers conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of E. Charles St.

4:45am A report of fireworks being set off in the area of N. Lane St. and Plymouth St. was investigated.

5:24am A report of loud music in the area of E. Center St. and S. Walnut was investigated. The music was turned down.

5:59am A report of 2 individuals kicking a pop machine in the Lutz Dr. area was investigated. No damage was caused.

6:10am A hang up 9-1-1 call in the 1700 block of Whetstone St. was investigated. EMS was summoned to assist an individual.

8:31am A Sherman St. resident reported vandalism to his vehicle overnight.

9:34am Officers investigated a disturbance in the 1100 block of Orra St.

10:26am A false alarm was received from Transco, 820 Hopley Ave.

10:45am A Teddy Ave. resident reported a theft from his home.

12:52pm Officers assisted a subject in entering his locked vehicle in the 300 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

2:11pm A domestic dispute in the 400 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated. No assaults or threats and the female involved went to a friend’s house.

2:28pm A false alarm was investigated in the 1300 block of Grandview Dr.

2:39pm Officers checked a report of a dog without shelter in the 400 block of Prospect. The owner arrived home and took the dog inside.

3:19pm Officer mediated a trespassing landlord/tenant issue in the 400 block of E. Mansfield St.

3:41pm A report of young children riding in a vehicle without car seats was made.

4:25pm A disturbance was investigated in the area of Highland and Woodlawn.

4:39pm A suspicious person in Aumiller Park was investigated.

4:53pm Officer helped resolve a neighborhood dispute involving juveniles in the 600 block of Prospect St.

5:12pm Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance in the 1400 block of Whetstone St.

5:22pm A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Heritage Circle.

5:29pm A false alarm was investigated at the Bucyrus Elementary School.

5:30pm A false alarm was investigated at Transco.

5:36pm A verbal dispute was investigated in the 100 block of Fisher St.

5:45pm A report was made of a juvenile being assaulted in the 600 block of Prospect St.

5:54pm A report of juveniles riding their bikes in front of vehicles in the area of Poplar and Mansfield Street was investigated.

6:07pm Officers assisted the Fire Department in the area of Kramer and Warren Street.

6:14pm A resident in the 700 block of E. Irving Street reported an air conditioning unit stolen.

6:21pm Complaint was received of unwelcome solicitation at Bucyrus reservoir on Stetzer Rd.

6:46pm A 9-1-1 hang up call from the area of Waterford Glen was investigated. No one was located needing assistance.

7:02pm Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 300 block of Hill Street.

8:41pm A report of a large piece of equipment in the roadway in the 100 block of E. Mansfield Street was investigated. There was a work crew using it in the area to repair a light pole.

8:56pm A traffic warning was issued on Swigart Street.

9:44pm A 9-1-1 hang up call from the 900 block of Sherman Street was investigated. No one was located needing assistance. Bystanders advised it was a verbal dispute and the subjects left in a vehicle.

10:06pm A verbal domestic disturbance in the area of Liberty and Poplar Street was investigated. The male half of the dispute left the area.

10:17pm A traffic warning was issued in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Avenue.

11:03pm Officer mediated a verbal dispute in the area of Washington Square. Malcom Fogle, 22, was arrested on charges of Open Container of Alcohol on Washington Square. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

11:25pm Officers handled a trespassing and civil property dispute in the 400 block of Milo St. Coty Wilson, 28, was arrested on two Crawford County warrants. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

11:44pm A resident in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue reported a Next bicycle stolen from her residence tonight.
