GALION — Rhinestones, polyester scarves and sunshine filled Heise Park Tuesday evening during the Richardson Davis Chapel Snyder Funeral Home’s Music in the Park concert series as Paul Royce took to the band shell stage for his feature presentation: Memories of Elvis.
Royce arrived by white stretch limousine and wore a matching white rhinestone studded jumpsuit, which he wore during the first half of his act. After a short intermission, Royce emerged in a flaming red jumpsuit studded with mirrors, brass sculptures, chains and gems. He delighted the crowd by sharing scarves, and plush animals and remained after the second set for autographs and photos.
The final concert of the Music in the Park series is Tuesday, July, 5 at 7 p.m. and will feature renown country duo Gatlin. A large crowd, so come early and bring a lawn chair.
