CCS to host car show, flea market

The Community Counseling Services is hosting the 12th annual “Wheels & Deals” Car Show and Flea Market Fundraiser, on Saturday, June 25th, 8 am to 5 pm, at 2458 Stetzer Road, Bucyrus.

This event was started years ago by the case management department at CCS, to raise money for the mentally disabled activity fund. This fund supports scheduled and monitored activities, as well as a Christmas party for the mentally disabled in Crawford County, we provide a holiday meal and gifts of needed household items, personal care items and clothing to those in need.

Through the years the event has blossomed with support from local businesses, with donation of items and sponsored trophies for the event, and the co-sponsors of Donley Ford of Galion and Badnell & Dick Law Office.

Events planned for this year are a raffle, with a grand prize of a Sanyo 50 inch, full HD, and LED TV. Tickets are a $1 each or 6 for $5. The drawing will be held at 3 p.m. the day of the event and need not be present to win.

A car show featuring all makes, models cars & motorcycles welcome, with a registration of $10, and the awards will be given at 3 p.m.

There will also be a flea market with loads of collectables, antiques, and many other items available, with numerous vendors providing unique items for your shopping pleasure. The booth spaces are $20 each.

Food vendors will be offering numerous items to tempt your taste buds and music will be provided by DJ Rockin Buzzard.
