The Crawford Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting an evening pasture clinic on June 21 for area farmers and landowners interested in learning how to improve their grazing and pasture management skills. The clinic is for beginning and seasoned grazers or pasture owners. Bob Hendershot, ODA pasture management specialist, will be leading the discussion on various methods and management techniques to maximize forage production in pastures. Topics will include grass ID, summer pasture management tips, and opportunities to extend the grazing season into the winter months. The clinic will be held at the John & Brad Stahl farm located at 2099 Temple Rd. Bucyrus, Ohio. The field day begins at 5:30 pm with a light meal followed by the pasture

The clinic will be held at the John and Brad Stahl farm located at 2099 Temple Road, Bucyrus. The field day begins at 5:30 p.m. with a light meal followed by the pasture clinic. Please dress appropriately as this is a hands-on learning opportunity in the pastures on the farm. The clinic cost is $10 per person payable that night.
