Master Donald Graf introduced the special guests. Guests were Ohio State Grange Master and First Lady Robert and Joann White and Ohio State Grange Secretary, Debra Hamilton. Master Robert White gave a few remarks and presented a plaque from National Grange representing a commendation of our 100 years of service. He also presented a certificate from Ohio State Grange congratulating Leesville Grange on their 100th anniversary. April is Grange Month and a proclamation from National Master Betsy Huber was read. Leesville Grange was organized according to the charter on May 17, 1916 by County Deputy Perry Warden. The Grange met in the Leesville School until the construction of the Grange hall in 1922. The original Master was A. J. Huber and Secretary was Inez Cole.

Master Donald Graf went around the room and introduced those in attendance by stating who their parents or grandparents were, what offices they held and asked them to say what stood out in their mind about the Grange. Letters of congratulations were read from Kathryn (Bauer) Leathem and Bill Fisher talking about Grange and its impact on the community.

A special guest “Miss Caroline” reviewed her years in Grange from its beginning in 1867. She was involved with the Seven Founders of Patrons of Husbandry – National Grange – the niece of Oliver Hudson Kelley. She was portrayed by Dorothy Eckert.

Closing song was “Blessed Be The Tie that Binds”.

Anniversary cake and beverage was served at the close of the program.
