Richland Carrousel Park celebrates an anniversary Saturday

MANSFIELD — Richland Carrousel Park will celebrate its 26th anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A gift awaits the first 50 children arriving at the event. Every hour on the hour, the Carrousel will spin with all riders enjoying a free ride. There will be a 26 percent discount in the Carrousel Gift Shop on some items.

The Carrousel Grill will start smoking at 10:30 a.m., serving up hot dogs and brats. Chips, popcorn, cotton candy, pop and old-fashioned soda also will be available

Downtown Mansfield started becoming alive and vibrant 26 years ago with the birth of Richland Carrousel Park. Many changes have happened to downtown Mansfield since the Carrousel started spinning — shops, restaurants, a winery, a brewery, a florist, an ice cream shop, etc. have opened for business.

Richland Carrousel Park will continue to be a corner gemstone in Mansfield serving our community and surround areas.
