Nicholas Adams finishes basic training

CRESTLINE — U.S. Air Force Airman Nicholas T. Adams graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Adams is the son of Kelly J. Schafer of Crestline and Aaron A. Adams of Galion and step-son of Kevin R. Schafer of Crestline He is also the brother of Austin A. Adams and Owen C. Adams.

The airman graduated in 2014 from Colonel Crawford High School.

Ethan Ness completes basic training

GALION U.S. Air Force National Guard Airman 1st Class Ethan W. Ness graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Ness is the son of Ron G. Ness of Galion, Ohio, and brother of Eric L. Ness of Crestline, Ohio.

He is a 2011 graduate of Northmor High School.
