GALION — Efforts to get more people to visit and get to know and start to better enjoy Historic Uptowne Galion begin Friday with the first-of-its-kind Third Friday in Galion program.

The new venture is brought to you by the Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce.

A list of events going on in just three days accompanies this story. Also, local vendors will be on the square with locally-produced items for sale.

Several Galion merchants are also planning on being open throughout the TFIG activities in an effort to show off the items and food and products and services they have available

The event starts at 4:30 p.m. and lasts until 8 p.m. Remember. North Market Street will be close from the square to the first alley north of the square.
