Christian band Esterlyn coming to Crestline on Sept. 25

PRAYER BREAKFASTAt 7 a.m. on Sept. 14, in the Bucyrus Hospital Cafeteria, Pastor Larry Lotz, a retired real estate broker and auctioneer will be the guest speaker at the Woodlawn United Methodist Church Men’s Group prayer breakfast. Lotz spoke at the Resurrection Breakfast in March of God’s miraculous work in his son’s life, and in the lives of Larry and his bride, Carolyn. All are welcome, call 419-562-1776 for information.

FREE COMMUNITY MEAL — Trinity Lutheran Church, 291 N. Union St., Galion will serve a free community meal from 5-6 p.m. on Sept. 22. All are welcome. We look forward to serving old friends and meeting new ones!

CHRISTIAN BAND IN CRESTLINE — Calvary United Church of Christ, 511 Heiser Court, Crestline, will present the internationally known group, Esterlyn, at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25. Esterlyn is a Christian worship band from Boise, Idaho. Their top 10 hit, “Freedom Is Here,” plays on Christian Radio stations and in countless venues around the country. They have a heart for missions and have been a voice to the helpless around the world. Admission is $8.

FOOD PANTRY — St. Paul United Methodist Church, 746 Cherry St., Sept. 17, from 9-11 a.m.. Galion residents only, and bring a photo ID and proof of residency (phone,utility bill, etc.)

GOD’S LITTLE ACRE MARKET — God’s Little Acre Market will take place every Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parking lot of First Presbytarian Church, 240 S. Market St., in Galion. For more information contact Sharon Landes at 419-845-3540.

JEWELRY SALE — The Second Time Around Jewelry Sale is Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 130 E. Walnut St., Galion. There will be a large selection of gently used jewelry, scarves, and handbags at reasonable prices. All proceeds go to local missions.
