Feb. 28

2:38 a.m.-Randall Spears was issued a citation for disturbing the peace when officers investigated a report of loud music in the 400 block of Third Avenue.

7:09 a.m.-A report of a suspicious man dropping off garbage bags at the corner of Grant and Liberty Streets was investigated.

8:39 a.m.-Drake W. Kinniard was issued a citation for speeding on Bennett Drive.

9:04 a.m.-Mary A. Cooley was issued a citation for speeding on North Market Street at Fortney Avenue.

9:55 a.m.-Kyle McClintock was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.

12:10 p.m.-Freelin J. Hensley was issued a citation for speeding in the 900 block of Dawsett Avenue.

3:08 p.m.-A large fight was investigated at West Church and North Boston Streets.

5:24 p.m.-Alex Armistad was issued a citation for driving with expired plates and an expired operator’s license on East Atwood Street.

March 1

2:42 a.m-A report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Wedgewood Circle.

4:24 a.m.-A report of a tree limb in the roadway on North Union Street was referred to the city’s street department.

5:20 a.m.-A Cherry Street resident reported a window broken out of their vehicle that was parked at the residence overnight.

5:26 a.m.-A report of a tree limb and power line across the roadway in the 7700 block of Ohio 309 was referred to the city’s line department.

9:56 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated on Harding Way West at Portland Way North was investigated.

11:22 a.m.-Officers assisted Richland County Children Services personnel in the 400 block of South Street.

2:58 p.m.-A report of a fight in the Heise Park area was investigated.

4:04 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 100 block of East Street and Randall Moore was issued a citation for improper turn.

6:20 p.m.-William Kiel was arrested in the 200 block of South Pierce Street on a Morrow County felony warrant and released to Morrow County authorities.

8:03 p.m.-A First Avenue resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.

8:51 p.m.-A North Union Street reported a vehicle vandalized.

Bucyrus Police

Feb. 28

8:41 a.m.- Officers responded to a report of a vehicle driving off from Clark Oil, 934 Marion Rd., with the gas hose still in the tank. The driver returned to the station and made arrangements with Clark for payment of damages.

1:10 p.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team Ambulance in the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

1:47 p.m.- A disturbance in the 100 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

1:51 p.m.- Officers made a welfare check in the 1200 block of John Street.

2:57 p.m.- Two income tax summons were served at the police department.

3:12 p.m.- A report of bricks being placed in the roadway at River Street and North Sandusky Avenue was unfounded.

3:55 p.m.- Officers spoke to solicitors in the 600 block of Martin Avenue.

5:03 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a man walking a dog, and the man was struggling to stay on his feet and posing a danger to passing motorists. Charles Napier, 24, was arrested in the area of Woodlawn and Kearsley Avenues on charges of disorderly conduct and open container of liquor. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

5:18 p.m.- A report of people trespassing in the Waterford Glen area was investigated.

5:45 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a warrant.

6:08 p.m.- Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department searching for an individual with a warrant.

6:54 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 200 block of West Mary Street. A dog was reported stolen from the residence.

7:30 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Elm Street was an unruly juvenile.

7:44 p.m.- A report of suspicious persons in the 900 block of Earl Street was investigated.

8:24 p.m.- Officers assisted EMS in the 1000 block of East Beal Avenue.

9:16 p.m.- Officers assisted with an unruly juvenile in the 1000 block of East Mansfield Street.

9:35 p.m.- Officers checked a residence with an open door in the 800 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

10:10 p.m.- A report of an intoxicated male in the 200 block of Harper Avenue was investigated and resolved with an escort.

10:59 p.m.- A report of loud music in the 800 block of Elm Street was investigated.

11:14 p.m.- A report of a reckless driver in the area of Hopley Avenue was investigated

March 1

12:55 a.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 2100 block of East Mansfield Street was an ATM customer.

4:50 a.m.- A report of a low hanging power line in the 900 block of Nevada Road was investigated.

10:55 a.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team Ambulance in the 900 block of Rogers Street.

11:38 a.m.- An elderly female who was lost was brought on station. Officers assisted in finding her residence and contacting family members.

12:08 p.m.- Officers attempted to deliver a message for the Upper Police Department in the 500 block of South Poplar Street.

3:24 p.m.- Officers checked a report of a dog not tied up correctly in the 400 block of West Warren Street.

3:51 p.m.- A juvenile was reported missing and after investigation, he later returned home.

5:13 p.m.- A report of solicitors in the 800 block of Prospect Street was investigated. They do have permits from the city.

5:24 p.m.- A domestic disturbance in the 400 block of West Warren Street was mediated.

6:58 p.m.- A report of siding blowing into the roadway from the 100 block of Fisher Street was investigated.

7:09 p.m.- A report of an erratic driver in the area of Oakwood and Hopley Avenues was investigated.

10:21 p.m.- Officers attempted to locate a person with a warrant.

March 2

12:21 a.m.- A resident in the 1700 block of Marion Road reported hearing a window broken in her residence. It was found to have been a picture that fell off the wall.

12:29 a.m.- Officers responded to a disturbance complaint in the 400 block of North Walnut Street and Robert Sugden Jr., 45, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation for each charge and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.
