Campbell, Weithman named to D-III All-Northwest District

UPPER SANDUSKY — Winners in the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association tournament at Lincoln Hills, Upper Sandusky found challenge and skill to merit their titles at the first of the season event held Tuesday. The sponsor of the tournament was Pam Hartman of Milford Center.

COLUMBUS — Area athletes left their mark at the OHSAA State Track and Field Championships last week. Colonel Crawford saw athletes climb the podium at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the Ohio State University’s campus. Athletes from all around the state battled the tough heat at the biggest stage.
Stone, 4×100 relay team lead the way for Galion at state
COLUMBUS — Galion sent multiple athletes to the Division II state meet in Columbus just a few days ago. The Tigers came away with a relay team reaching the podium, as well as an individual.
Area track & field athletes move onto state
Colonel Crawford girls won the team championship in the Division III regional at Heath for the second straight year this past week. The Lady Eagles scored 72 points to top Fairbanks’ total of 49. Many area athletes will move onto Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the Ohio State University campus for the state track meet.
