Easton wins Ohio stamp design competition

Ray Easton’s painting of a bufflehead duck was selected as the winner of the 2024 Ohio Wetlands Habitat Stamp Design Competition held on Saturday, Feb. 17, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. Easton’s painting will be displayed on the Ohio Wetlands Habitat Stamp that will be issued in 2025.

Whitney’s legacy honored

The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (MOESC) Board of Governors voted on Wednesday, Feb. 14, to approve a joint resolution with the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) in memory of Robert H. Whitney. Three $500 scholarships will be awarded in his memory during the 2024 Franklin B. Walter program on Tuesday, March 12, at 6 p.m.
