Governor issues Patriot Day resolution

COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich ordered that all flags be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Patriot Day, Thursday, September 11, 2014, in honor of the lives lost in the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. In addition, he asked that all Ohioans observe a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m. EDT.

Kiwanis Pancake Day Set

The annual Kiwanis Pancake Day is set for Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Galion Intermediate School. Serving hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tickets are $6.00.
